Install HighVibe in VS Code

Use this guide to install the provided HighVibe VSIX, connect the VS Code extension to app.highvibe.dev, set a plugin token, and troubleshoot missing checks.

Setup

Quick steps

  1. Get the current VSIX directly from the HighVibe team and install it with Extensions: Install from VSIX…. A direct link will be added here when a verified public Marketplace listing is available.
  2. Open app.highvibe.dev and create or copy a plugin token.
  3. In VS Code, run HighVibe: Set Plugin Token.
  4. Confirm the service URL is https://app.highvibe.dev/, not localhost.
  5. Run a check from the HighVibe command or extension panel.

Troubleshooting

When checks do not arrive

Extension version

Confirm the installed VSIX version with HighVibe support. Manual VSIX installs do not auto-update, so a newer file must be installed manually.

Plugin token

Regenerate the token in app.highvibe.dev and save it again in VS Code if authorization fails.

Output channel

Open Output → HighVibe. Include the server URL, HTTP status, and error message when contacting support. Do not include private tokens.
